What this site is

We Heard Her is an independent advocacy project. It is not a law firm, a news organisation or a charity, and nothing on this site is legal advice.

Allegations and facts

Campaign material is based on publicly available information and linked sources. Where a campaign concerns allegations, active litigation or an open investigation, we say so, and we distinguish allegations from established facts. No accused person is described as guilty unless a final legal finding supports that description.

Taking action

When you use a campaign's email action, the message opens in your own email client and is sent by you, from your own account, under your own name. We Heard Her does not send email on your behalf and does not impersonate you. You are responsible for what you send.

The action counter shows people who told us they took action. It is self-reported and is not a verified count of emails received by any institution.
