Privacy

Privacy is built into this project, not bolted on. We collect as little as possible.

When you take action on a campaign

Your email is written and sent entirely from your own email account, in your own email app. We never see it, and we never ask for your email address. Nothing is sent through a We Heard Her address.

When you tell us you took action, we record a single anonymous count using a random token generated in your browser. That token contains no name, no email address and no device information, and it exists only so the same person isn't counted twice. We do not fingerprint visitors.

When you contact us

If you send us a tip through the contact form, we receive only what you deliberately type: your name, your email address, your message and any link you choose to share. We use it to assess the issue and, if needed, to reply to you. We don't use it for anything else.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious measurement to understand whether the site is being read. We don't build profiles of individual visitors.
